Holton-Blake The Canine Club is committed to making our website accessible and welcoming to all visitors. We continually review the site to improve accessibility and make it easier for everyone to learn about and access our services.

ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

This statement was last updated on 3 August 2026.

Holton-Blake The Canine Club is committed to making our website, www.holtonblakecanineclub.co.uk, accessible and easy to use for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

We want every visitor to be able to learn about our dog walking, canine swimming and pet-care services, navigate the website and contact us without unnecessary barrier

What web accessibility is

An accessible website allows people with different needs and abilities to access information and use its features with a similar level of ease.

This can include people who:

  • Use screen-reading software

  • Navigate using a keyboard

  • Have limited vision or colour perception

  • Have hearing, mobility or cognitive impairments

  • Use mobile devices or enlarged text settings

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have taken steps to make the website more accessible, including:

  • Using a clear and consistent page structure

  • Providing descriptive page headings

  • Using readable text and contrasting colours

  • Adding alternative text to meaningful images

  • Labelling contact-form fields clearly

  • Supporting keyboard navigation where possible

  • Making the website responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile devices

  • Avoiding the use of colour alone to communicate important information

  • Using clear link and button descriptions

We will continue to review the website as content and services are added.

Accessibility standard

We aim to make this website conform as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2, Level AA.

WCAG 2.2 is the current W3C accessibility recommendation and provides guidance for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

The website has not currently undergone an independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim that every page or feature is fully compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA.

Known limitations

Although we aim to make the whole website accessible, some elements provided through Wix or other third-party services may not work perfectly with every browser, device or assistive technology.

We are continuing to review:

  • Image descriptions and alternative text

  • Colour contrast

  • Heading structures

  • Keyboard navigation

  • Contact forms

  • Mobile accessibility

  • Third-party website features

Wix recommends that accessibility statements explain any known limitations and provide a way for visitors to report accessibility problems.
